Trump's Iran humiliation has become another point for dangerous anti-Israel attacks and historical antisemitism by Trump and his collaborators

Trump rehashes old grudge with Netanyahu as space for GOP criticism of Israel expands

This false MOU ‘agreement’ between the US and Iran was dead on arrival from the instant it was announced. And that has nothing to do with Israel but Trump and his team's remarkable incompetence. Note, too, that Trump's 'diplomatic' team consists of a vacuous real estate agent and Putin sycophant, another who is bought and owned by Saudi Arabia and Trump’s obsequious VP JD Vance. This is combined with the fact that Trump was humiliated in Iran and is desperate to end the fighting by surrendering to Iran’s primary demands. I’m not sure where Liddle Marco is other than probably trying to hide as much as possible.

Vance is now defending Trump’s dementia addled inanity with Iran while helping to attack Israel apparently without a clue that he is Trump’s scapegoat #1 with Israel being set up as scapegoat #2.

To note, I oppose Netanyahu as strongly as I do support Israel but am, frankly, also beyond tired of Israel always being the target for ‘fault’ and the errors of others. This, whether it is Trump and friends or self disposed ‘progressives’ who have large factual gaps and think they’re doing - well, what they think they're doing, I’m not altogether certain

This is the many millenia long History of Judaism and virulent antisemitism. Anytime any government or other leadership is failing, it somehow becomes the fault of the Jews and, often, Jews everywhere rather than just in their country alone. This is no different than Trump and Vance’s verbal attacks on Israel in an attempt at transference of American culpability and miserable failure in Iran.

Remember that the Strait of Hormuz was free and open the day before the US and Israel launched its latest war on Iran. That status quo is now lost forever directly related to the attack on Iran which had been fully predicted but ignored by Trump and his fellow Iran war hawks as well as Netanyahu and his war hawks

As little as I support the Israeli government, the reality is that they did not make nor were asked for ANY promise or agreement to stop fighting Hezbollah. Israel is NOT a signatory to Trump’s surrender MOU having been blocked out of any of the negotiations. But Iran demanded that Israel stop responding to Hezbollah provocations and leave Lebanon…to which Trump quickly agreed.

A reality is that Iran and its powerful proxy, Hezbollah, are and have long been primary occupiers and tormentors of Lebanon - not Israel. Israel’s degree of occupation is open to opinion but is limited to southern Lebanon in an effort to keep Hezbollah away from northern Israel. But promising support of and protection for northern Israel didn’t come up in Trump’s surrender MOU to Iran

Two days ago, in fact, Trump called Lebanon a ‘small war’ and said he supported Israel’s fight with and defense against Hezbollah to include its occupation of southern Lebanon. I don’t specifically support Israel’s long term occupation of southern Lebanon but understand the strategic reasons which exist so long as Hezbollah, via Iran, continues its attacks on Israel.

Trump, however, has spoken about Lebanon as a sideshow to the fight with Iran, describing it at the G7 as a “pinprick” (but claiming it) threatened his negotiations with Tehran.

While Trump was concerned about his ‘negotiations,’ it still never occurred that it would be beneficial to have Israel directly involved. Then yesterday, Trump suddenly demanded that Israel not return or respond to what was Hezbollah’s continued attacks and immediately accede to the arbitrary demand in the MOU of an Israeli (but not Iranian/Hezbollah) ceasefire.

More important is that Trump’s nonsense MOU made NO reference that Iran had to rein in its proxies from their constant attacks on Israel to include ending its long standing nationwide occupation of Lebanon through Hezbollah

That Trump ensured Israel was cut out of his faux negotiations with Iran meant that Israel had not agreed to a damn thing and was/is not a signatory to Trump’s surrender document with Iran that pays off Iran in an attempt to end his humiliation and loss in his Epstein War of Choice. This has now focused on the loss of control over the key Strait of Hormuz - which was fine and fully open the day before the joint US/Israel attack on Iran.

Iran said yesterday that after the agreed to 60 day lull and free passage in Hormuz, it would be creating a system of tolls for ships passing through the Strait. This, while, Trump assures (lies) that Iran will continue to allow free passage in the Strait.

The 60 day added period for more ‘negotiations’ will allow Iran to further play off of Trump’s instability, confusion and desperate need to withdraw. It will allow Iran to organize its enriched uranium, a fee system for Hormuz and to reconstitute its ballistic missile system. This, even though it’s been identified that Iran has retained about 70% of its missile capacity

The MOU also agrees to remove American military from locations geographically near Iran (though what that means exactly is unclear). What IS clear is that Trump not only lost to Iran but that Iran is dictating the terms of his surrender which will leave Iran stronger than ever before and the Middle East, especially Israel, at ever more risk. Trump lost to Iran and Netanyahu screwed up to the same degree he did leading to October 7.

Turns out that because of his claimed ‘special’ alliance with Trump and self proclaimed status as a ‘Trump whisperer,’ Netanyahu also lost the current war with Iran while not meeting any objectives despite several which are rather important. Netanyahu would’ve been far better off if Israel had done more surgical and strategic strikes and not tried to bring the war monger and dementia addled mentally ill alpha man toddler Trump, into this fight

Of further importance (and I apologize for being a bit redundant) is that nowhere in this MOU is there even a reference that Iran and its terror proxies, led by Hezbollah, will leave Israel the hell alone. It is only and arbitrarily stated that Israel, however, won’t fire back and will leave Lebanon to Hezbollah. Hezbollah, however, has not stopped its attacks on Israel to include killing and wounding IDF soldiers SINCE the MOU was supposedly signed.

Israel and Hezbollah have just reportedly agreed to a ceasefire even as they continue to fight and kill the other. Realize that Hezbollah’s sole purpose, as fully aligned with Iran (to include Hamas), is the total annihilation of Israel to include ending it as a sovereign nation. Hezbollah - and Hamas’ - sole purpose is the total genocide of each and every Israeli Jew (and any Jew it can reach) along with any Palestinian it dubs as Israel’s ‘sympathizers.’

I’d think providing for Israel’s security would’ve been rather important in any agreement with Iran. Trump’s ‘agreement’ with Iran can’t contain a line about Israel’s self defense in Lebanon without having had Israel involved in the negotiations and to, again, have Iran agree to leave Israel the hell alone directly and through its proxies.

I consider Netanyahu and his Ben Gvir/Smotrich element to be potential war criminals. Netanyahu pushed a pointless slaughter of civilians in Gaza - but which is still not genocide - to include the use of way disproportionate force even as the war against Hamas was relevant in the wake of the October 7 true genocidal slaughter and extreme sexual violence by Hamas terrorists in southern Israel.

As I’ve written previously, and even Trump just referenced, Israel must stop leveling residential buildings in Beirut because they may have seen a single Hezbollah operative enter the building. That perverted rationale and strategy was used in the destruction of Gaza as well. But this still has nothing to do with the Trump/Iran MOU since Israel was blocked out of any participation or input.

Despite the mass slaughter in Gaza, Netanyahu and his Jewish Supremacist coalition lost to Hamas who is now in control of at least 50% of Gaza, still fully armed, and back to terrorizing and murdering Gazan citizens. For all those rightly horrified by the extremity of the Netanyahu coalition’s campaign in Gaza, I’ve yet to hear unconditional condemnation of Hamas for 10/7 or, now, for resuming their pre-Oct 7 terror campaign against their own citizens.

But I digress.

I honestly resent making it appear that I’m defending Netanyahu - because that is the last thing you will get from me. What I am defending is Israel and both, Israeli and Diaspora Jews.

The constant incitement from figures like Trump, combined with the blindness to the historical, geopolitical and strategic realties on the ground by others even as they (may) think they are well meaning, are creating hate for Israel and death for Israeli and Diaspora Jews from Australia and the UK to the US. In the US that has ranged from Pittsburgh to, very recently, Michigan and as it does in other locations in the West, continues to escalate.

Israel must realign by first getting Netanyahu out of office though he has, sadly, identified that he wants to run in the about to happen elections. I’d like to see Israel’s President Herzog have a conversation with Bibi about his political (and legal) future.

America must recover by having the GOP Congress get its collective head out of its ass and hold Trump accountable. Pull the plug on his unilateral behavior from starting deadly pointless wars to destroying the Reflecting Pool. Article II Section 4 of the Constitution must engaged - that and/or the 25th Amendment

But, first and foremost, I’d even more like to see in the immediate term the realization that Trump and Iran arbitrarily putting Israel and Hezbollah by way of Lebanon in their 14-point MOU to be irrelevant to Israel but only accountable to Trump’s incompetence, humiliation and surrender.

It has now been made Israel’s problem but it is not Israel’s fault or responsibility. It is Trump, his cowardly sycophantic supporters in the GOP Congress and Cabinet who are responsible for Iran. Israel through Netanyahu has plenty for which to be held accountable - but not Trump’s surrender MOU dictated to him by Iran

And especially to all Black Americans - Happy Juneteenth! - an American holiday.
